YOU
$0.01
Luke You and others
This zine is something of a legend. 'You' is a free, anonymous, weekly zine from Melbourne Australia, made and distributed since 2001. It involves a letter addressed to you from various writers, usually handwritten, often sealed in a paper bag and signed off 'from Luke' but may be also written by different people. This zine has been known to be typed in Braille, appear inside cigarette boxes, cassette tapes, noodle boxes, and has assumed the form of a CD and an hour long DVD. The zine usually appears in English but issues have included Spanish, French, Greek, Norwegian and Hungarian. Every week there's a different issue - see what issues you score through the magic of mail order! And if you're super keen, check out the anthology of the first five years.

You stink and I don't issues 1-5

"It's a stupid ride, and every page is shit". Nobody actually ever said that, but I put it in quotations anyway. That's the sort of devil-may-care attitude folks have come to expect from the pages of You Stink And I Don't, a small press comic that comes striding out of Canberra, kicking over recycling bins on the way and sometimes tripping in its high heels and looking around to see if anyone saw.
This book is a collection of the whole first five issues which were lazily produced by a guy, and sold in kind comic shops across the land. The only ones who didn't stock it were the heartless, corporate fan-boy type comic shops which means that this comic is actually extremely underground. Oh yes! It's hard to be underground these days what with the evil eyes of marketing pretty much cashing in on everything that rocks, but none of them cashed in on it, and not because it sucked, but because it was just too space-age and cool probably. So if you consider yourself in any way cutting edge and counter-culture, then it's now time to actually show what you're made of and...well, I'll refrain from the ancient BUY THIS joke, which isn't funny anyway, so instead I'll just say fuck off and do what you want.

So wait, until your parents have gone out, or your partner's asleep, and reach into your secret hiding place, wherever that may be...and pull it out. They're not meant to see this. You're not meant to see this. You're feeling sickened, repulsed. But you have to see it, you have to...
