I squirt the mist over the leaves of the fern and contemplate going back in time.

...With a closer look the rink is perhaps a bit more run down, the ceiling a canopy of mildew, the canteen closed and the arcade machines moved out, but it might as well be the 80s. Few other places that were once familiar to me have stayed the same. The suburb where I grew up now looks tiny to me, almost a toy town, and I stride through it like a giant. The little brick houses are being replaced by tidy, AV Jennings ones...
