Melissa's RSI Zine
$2.00
Various / Melissa Reidy
As part of our Festival Of The Photocopier 2012, lovely local artist Melissa Reidy was planning on launching her new zine 'Into The City I Go'. Unfortunately, a few weeks before the event, she was diagnosed with Repetitive Strain Injury, a common zinemaking affliction. Instead of cancelling the event, Melissa asked anyone who turned up to the launch to draw a picture of her RSI-riddled hand, with a view to turning the results into a zine. Here it is.
Includes illustrations by Melissa, Alex Clark, Amy Twel Vohtwo, Jo Waite, Luke You, Samuel 'Honest' Condon, Thomas Blatchford, and a colour centrefold by Daria 'Photocopier Woman' Honey.

Mr Ray's Grave Thoughts
$8.00

Spend some time in the sad, strange world of Mr Ray. Why does he shout 'squib' at a passing jogger? What will his dad want him to do after he's died? And will he actually get round to doing it? Some, none or all of this will be answered within.
Praise & Criticism for Mr Ray's Grave Thoughts includes:
"Pretty good" - Sam Wallman
"I inhaled this comic and it made me proud to call him a colleague and friend" - Katie Parrish
"Slow sex with a very cheap therapist" - Hamish
"To think that a healthy young boy could write so poignantly about death...it's a Mister Ray to me!" - Elliot Lamb
"It made me realise that not only does God exist, but MAN! He really hates Marc" - Justin Schachter

Newcastle Australia #5 100 letterboxes of Newcastle Part 2.
$5.00
Trevor Dickinson
...I've house-hunted in both England and Australia. When I lived in London I could pretty much tell the size, features and age of a house and its garden, just by looking at the street name...Here, in Newcastle [NSW] it was different: every time I went to look at a house I had no idea what to expect. Everywhere we looked houses were on different block sizes and might have been built decades apart from the neighbours'. Resulting in very little uniformity in many streets...The same applies to Newcastle letterboxes...
15 cm x 10 cm, 32 pages of street letter boxes numbered 26-50, illustrated.

Hello readers, This is the second collaborative zine that Fran and I have made together. The first was a lot less together than this one (even though it was made lands apart) for we skirmished with paper and glue mere hours before the TINA zine fair last year. Lucking out at our most unfavourite stationary and print store at closing time to bring you: Picky.

Trot Ou Galop #2 (The Mystery Of The Red Eye)

Poor Anneliese. She only wants to be content. She hopes that cutting her hair like Mia Farrow will make her happy. But all it does is give her red eye. Why does she have red eye? Maybe this zine will explain. (It doesn't. But it's adorable.)

Oh Anneliese, you poor wonderful soul. Nobody will cut you a break. Volunteer institutions (that hopefully don't include Sticky) will make you sad, and job interviewers will mess you around. No wonder you made a zine about it. I'd tell the world about your nemeses too. Read a review of this zine here.

"All this zine was drawn-written in Melbourne from the 26th September till the 1st of October while attending Impact7 Printmaking conference. It was constructed at Sticky Melbourne. Thanks to Cougar Flashy who inspired me to finally stop putting it off and make a zine. The probably wouldn't of happened if i hadn't missed my train back to Adelaide so remember though it can be frustrating when things don't go to plan good things happen so often because of it..."

What's WLIO about? What's this paper being used for? This zine is about noticing the little things, it's about things that inspire me, and some reviews of things which might inspire you -? It's not about art of love, or health or life - but a partially sensical, frag.ment(ed) poreli speld anedotal jot in the spine of all these things. A sidenote scrawled in the margins. Unfinished, and hard to read...
