On one hand. Kind of weird to be doing so many grown-up things these days, what with the full-time work and the impending nuptials and talking to actual banks about actual loans to actually buy an actual house, and the talk about babies, but the weirdest most unexpected part is how easy and natural it all is. How right it feels and how you might be nervous thinking about it before you decide to do it, but once you've decided, it just becomes another thing that you do.

I'm not as crap at this grownup thing as I would have thought, and it's nowhere near as freaky as bad young-men spoken word would have you believe. I'm a mortgagee and I'm proud to say it loud.
