A grab-bag of short stories, illustrations, a comic strip, a collage, some reviews, a few articles, collected true stories, instructions to make origami shot glasses and a nifty little recipe for cupcakes...all devoted to the theme of parties. Something to flick through while you're on the bus, falling asleep with the lights on, or bored senseless at someone else's party.

The "difficult second album" follow-up to our first self-produced zine (issue 1). Yes, issue 2 is dedicated to the theme of 'gigs, concerts, festivals etc' broadening our general concern with parties to the arena of music. Writers and artists have responded with pieces that engage with the highs and lows of live musical performance, of being a fan and audience member - with short stories, comic strips, illustrations, articles and even your very own festival paper doll to cut out and dress.
Bound by staples, and made with all our loving. Leaf through it at our leisure when waiting in the queue through the tepid support acts, or waiting outside for a taxi to cart you away when the carnival is over.

This issue dusts off its smoking jacket, attaches a pair of cuff-links and memorises what fork to use for the salad with this third issue of our zine, which is devoted to the theme of dinner parties. Yes, we are turning classy with a range of recipes to try at home, recommendations for appropriate music to play at your soiree, and a limmerick to call your own Sir Inkington the Fourth as fodder for making small talk. Alongside that are comics, illustrations, short stories and poems that circle around our theme like a ravenous guest waiting for the buffet table to be open for business.
21 cm x 15 cm, 44 pages in black and white with a glossy cover leaf (our moderate attempt to be professional, yes), bound by staples and featuring contributions by talented artists and writers hiding in Perth, WA. Something to consume when the conversation in the den turns stale and you want to escape to a corner next to the fireplace with a sneaky tome and a snifter of brandy.

This issue looks at the movies with this Double Edition fourth issue. It has taken several months for this baby to be produced and published and now it's finally finished! Hooray for Hollywood!
Issue 4, 'At the movies, in the cinema lobby, at the video store...' features written and/or artistic contributions from the Usual Suspects, by which I mean Leonie Brialey, Adam Trainer, Jarrad Robb, Clare Nina Norelli, Dan Grant and Andrei Buters. Where else are you gonna get not one but TWO illustrations that seek to capture the stature of an actor like Michael Ironside?
21 cm x 15 cm, 64 pages of short stories, cinematic-going memoirs, film noir fashion tips, video store guides, video store challenges, french film reviews, movie star illustrations, and fake ex-rental postals galore. A little something to browse when you're in the queue for the cinema candy bar or lost in the aisles of DVD rentals.

Do you too? So I made a little zine out of all the different types of sandwich fillings I enjoy!
I am excited, so super excited! This zine is not as thick as my previous zine but it's still fun and filled with happy sandwiches!

Another collage zine by me, similar to the Maps one I did a few months back, if anyone read that. This one is an entirely two colour risographed thing, complete with dodgy colour separation and covers folded slightly too small for the inner pages. Oh well, it was my first encounter with a riso. With many, many thanks to Jess and Leigh of the Rizzeria collective for their time, help and patience. Check in the side bar for prices and what have you.

In the safety and shade of the overhanging precipice I crawled. The air at this altitude was thin, and every crawl-step thing or whatever you call a step you do when you are crawling, took twice the effort of crawling normally along the loungeroom at home. The sun was relentless at this time of year and this country in Iraq, so I was grateful for the short break from the heat provided by the massive overhanging rock. By the way, i was halfway up a cliff. My AK-47 was slung over my shoulder and after several days the strap seemed to be gnawing into my very flesh. I was reminded of the old folk tune "Fuck My Arm Fuckin Hurts", and I whistled it through gritted teeth as I slowly edged my way along...

A one-off 'novella', It'll Be Morning is coarsely presented with rough, irregular guillotining of photocopied text-only pages and roughly bound by gaffa tape and jute string. It's contents are equally unrefined and raw, the powerful story based in Melbourne. One of the best novella/zines etc ever.
14 cm x 21 cm and over 150 pages.
